The Utah Jazz was founded in 1974. However, at the time they were located in New Orleans.
The team was relocated to Utah in 1979.
The team had arguably their best run from 1984 to 2003. The reason for that run was two men named: John Stockton and Karl Malone.
The team has made it to the NBA Finals twice, once in 1997 and once in 1998.
Recently, they have been building a new team focused around Derrick Favors & Gordon Hayward. However, they have no concrete number one scorer, and some members of media believe if they do not receive a top 3 pick in 2014 NBA Draft their future will be limited.
